1. Cold pasta with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and pesto
A prescription very easy to be prepared in less than 30 minutes, with a secret ingredient: pesto, which will make this dish even more interesting. For children we recommend the version without garlic, which is more digestible.
Preparation time
25 minutes
Ingredients for people 4
- 380 g of short pasta
- 200 g of cherry tomatoes
- 150 g of mozzarella balls
- 1 tablespoon of pesto without garlic
- 2-3 fresh basil leaves
- extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
Method
Wash the cherry tomatoes under running water and then cut them into four wedges. Put them in a bowl with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, the washed and dried basil leaves and a pinch of salt. Cook the pasta and then drain it. Let it cool down (or do it faster with the help of a jet of cold water). Add the pasta with the cherry tomatoes, the mozzarella and add the spoonful of pesto. The pasta is ready to be served on the table!
2. Cold pasta with peas and ham
Another prescription timeless that will be a sure success among the little ones is this that we found on bebeblog.com.
For four people
Fry a spring onion with a drizzle of oil and then pour 200 g of peas (frozen ones are fine too) with a finger of water.
Season with salt or, if you have it, add a teaspoon of homemade vegetable cube. When the pasta is ready (about 400 g), drain it and let it cool. Then season it with the peas, 200 g of diced cooked ham and a sprinkling of parmesan.
As a variant, to make this dish even tastier, you can add spreadable cheese or mozzarella.
3. Cold pasta with feta and melon
An original recipe, seen on Moretto's Chef, suitable for children whose tastes you know well.
For four people
Cook 380 g of pasta, preferably short, then drain and let it cool. Separately, dice half a melon and 150 g of feta cheese.
Dress with extra virgin olive oil, salt and a handful of shelled walnuts. Add the sauce to the pasta and that's it!

A classic recipe e fast that we found on My Baby.
For three persons
Clean two courgettes and cut them into rings. Cook them in a pan with extra virgin olive oil and salt. Meanwhile, cook and drain the pasta, cooling it with a jet of cold water.
Pour the pasta into a bowl and pour over the zucchini, add 150 g of ricotta and add 2-3 mint leaves, previously washed, to flavor. Give a good sprinkling of parmesan and bring to the table.
If your children don't like zucchini (or so they say), you can blend them with an emulsion of oil and vinegar.
5. Cold pasta with broccoli and edamame
An unusual version of the cold pasta, which we found on Superhealthykids.com, involves the use of Soba, typical Japanese noodles made from buckwheat.
For three persons
Cook 300 g of Soba following the instructions on the package. Towards the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, also add 150 g of broccoli, previously cleaned and cut into small pieces. Meanwhile, make an emulsion by combining a teaspoon of Tamari sauce and one of soy sauce with a teaspoon of honey and one of olive oil. Add the drained and cooled pasta to the sauce and 100 g of Edamame first passed in a pan with a pinch of salt (soy beans that can also be found frozen in the supermarket).
Sprinkle with a handful of sesame seeds and bring to the table.
