What is Inclusion Income

The inclusion income can be requested from last December 1st to one's own Municipality of residence. Il Rei is made up of two parts: a monthly economic benefit (paid on an electronic payment card) and an individualized project of social and work inclusion which aims to overcome poverty and which is coordinated with the social services of the Municipality.

Requirements for obtaining inclusion income

To obtain the benefit you must have at least one of these requirements:

  • presence of a person with disabilities and their parent or guardian;
  • presence of a pregnant woman;
  • presence of a family member who has reached the age of 55 and who has specific unemployment requirements.

There are also economic requirements. Those who apply for inclusion income must be in possession of all these indicators:

  • valid ISEE value not exceeding 6.000 euros;
  • Isre value not exceeding 3.000 euros;
  • value of real estate assets (other than one's own home) not exceeding 20.000 euros;
  • value of the movable assets (deposits, current accounts, etc.) not exceeding 10.000 euros.

Furthermore, it is necessary not to receive Naspi or other social safety nets, not to own cars or motorcycles registered for the first time in the previous 24 months (unless they are vehicles for people with disabilities) and not even boats.



Inclusion income in pregnancy

In the case of gestation there is an important aspect. In the event that it is the only family requirement possessed, the application for inclusion income in pregnancy can be presented no earlier than 4 months from the presumed date of birth and must be accompanied by medical documentation issued by a public structure (therefore, not by a private gynecologist).

How much is the inclusion income?

The amount paid each month varies according to economic conditions and the number of family members. For a single member, the maximum benefit is 188 euros, for 2 it is 295 euros, for 3 members it is 383 euros, for 4 it is up to 461,25 euros, for 5 to 485,1 euros. The payment of the money (through INPS) takes place the month following the request and it is necessary to have signed the personalized project with which the family undertakes to carry out certain activities. It is mandatory to have a valid Isee certificate. Remember that it expires every December 31st.


How the Rei card works

The Rei card is a normal payment card, such as an ATM or a prepaid card, which is loaded monthly by the state. It allows you to withdraw up to 240 euros in cash every month, make purchases in authorized supermarkets, pharmacies, parapharmacies and grocery stores, pay electricity and gas bills in post offices, have a 5% discount on purchases in affiliated shops and pharmacies ( excluding drugs and tickets). Finally, the card can be used in the ATMs of Poste Del Paesene to check the balance and the movement list.
