Pokè bowl for children
Are you attracted to cuisine that comes from distant countries and do you want to offer special and healthy recipes to your children? You can experience the Poker bowl, which hail from distant Hawaii in the Pacific.
Pokè literally means "to cut into small pieces", while bowl means "bowl". It is about fresh, cheerful and colorful dishes, generally based on fish (raw or cooked) accompanied by rice, fruit or vegetables: all these foods are cut into cubes and served in a bowl.
The poke bowls, which date back to around 400 AD and which were prepared by fishermen from the Pacific Ocean, offer a unique mix of flavors and are currently very trendy in our country as well.
It is possible to create numerous variations of pokè bowl, alternating many healthy and nutritious ingredients for children. Here are some recipes to make various Pokè Bowls, vegetarian or with cooked fish, for the little ones. You can decide how to adapt these recipes, adding and removing ingredients also according to the tastes of the child.
(We remind you that the consumption of raw fish is not recommended for children under the age of three, but as a precaution, it is better to wait until the age of six. A gastrointestinal infection in a small child can cause greater dehydration and compromise general health conditions).
