Giving birth to a new life is such a wonderful thing idealized almost always to overshadow the large number of complications that each pregnancy entails.

"I know that many of you are probably wondering 'why did he need to publish this image'" - he writes in the description of the photo - but it took 18 months to get here, 18 months not to cry looking in the mirror, 18 months to finally feel beautiful in my skin again!
Nobody warns you of the dark sides of motherhood and pregnancy, no one tells you face to face how many changes you will have to face physically and mentally after becoming a mother. For me the post-partum ride was long and difficult.
Eighteen months after my first child and 5 months after my second I finally seem to be seeing the light again and this genuinely makes me feel extraordinary. I cheer on the moms who are battling postpartum depression and who keep getting up every day for their children!
Hurray you moms that you are crying from the marks on your skin due to the birth of your perfect children!
Long live motherhood, I rejoice knowing this will pass.
And things will get better "
