Recipes for children: fish burgers

When we cook for the children every now and then we have to resort to some tricks. In fact, it happens that if we prepare the usual fish, our children often wrinkle their noses at the idea of having to eat once again the classic sole cooked in a pan, or the fillet of gurnard without thorns.

These dishes have a too delicate and uninteresting flavor for them and have now become unattractive ... but how can we please our "customers"? I have finally found the solution to propose as an alternative: theFish Hamburger!

It is fast and can be made with any type of fish and, if it will be presented between two slices of bread, tomato and salad your kids will like it even more. In my house four out of four appreciate it… I would say it's a good percentage of success… so I propose it to you too!

Ingredients

* 150 gr of fish (dogfish or fresh tuna or swordfish) * lemon juice * 1 limome zest * 1 clove of garlic * parsley to taste * oregano to taste * extra virgin olive oil * toasted pine nuts to taste * salt and pepper to taste * breadcrumbs to taste

Preparation

Cut the fish into small cubes, add the lime juice, the peel, the minced garlic, the pine nuts, the herbs, the salt, a sprinkling of bread crumbs (half a tablespoon per person) and a tablespoon of oil each.

With your hands, protected by gloves, knead well by squeezing the meat some fish to break up the fibers a little more. If you can, let it rest to flavor well for at least half an hour.

After that, make your burgers, cover them with breadcrumbs (optional step) and cook them in a lightly greased pan for 7/8 minutes on each side and they will be ready.

Prepare your sandwiches (the classic round ones for burgers or, as I did, use the simple ones for lightly toasted sandwiches) heat them slightly then, stuffed with slices of tomato, salad, if you like some fresh chives, season with a drizzle of oil, place the fish burger and bring to the table.
