Children enjoy imitating everything mom and dad do

One of the most engaging games is that of prepare the baby food. So, a good idea for spending time with the kids is to get them involved in the kitchen and do it together fun and delicious recipes, but possibly also healthy.





It is important that children from an early age are educated to good eating habits: the food must be as varied as possible, rich in seasonal fruit and vegetables, with limited fat intake and above all with the least possible use of ready meals and packaged foods.

So here's one selection of recipes taken from the children's magazine Focus Pico which can be easily made together with the little ones. There are fun ones though they help to eat vegetables, such as vegetable tops, spinach mice or pinzimonio; the fruit based snacks, such as the kiwi crumble, the fruit candle, the sorbets. Christmas cookies

  1. With the help of a large boil, boil the vegetables

  1. Put the flour in a bowl and mix with two egg yolks, a pinch of salt, yeast, water and milk

  3. Then add a grated apple and the egg whites whipped (separately) until stiff. Mix everything together.
  4. With a spoon make small balls and, with the help of a large one, fry them in abundant boiling oil. When they are well fried, take them out of the pot and pass them in the icing sugar. Take them to the diner ... be careful not to burn yourself though!

Watermelon sorbet
