Baked Chicken Nuggets
Here's how to prepare i together with the children baked chicken nuggets, a very simple dish and much loved by the little ones!
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 bowl of green beans
- flour for polenta
- grains of hazelnuts
- extra virgin olive oil
- 1 of lemon juice
Cut the chicken breast into cubes, season with extra virgin olive oil, the juice of 1 lemon, a little salt and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
In the meantime, let's involve the children in the preparation of the breading, mixing the cornmeal for polenta, the chopped hazelnuts and the turmeric. Turmeric is mainly used to give the yellow color, you can decide together how much to use.
If you do not have hazelnuts at home, you can make it with any dried fruit in shell (walnuts, almonds, etc.) by blending it in the mixer.
At this point have fun with the children to bread the chicken cubes, making the breading adhere well on all sides.
Season the raw green beans with extra virgin olive oil and pass them lightly in the breading.
Arrange the chicken and green beans with the children on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 200 degrees in a convection oven, cooking in the upper part to ensure the crunchy effect. In 15-20 minutes everything will be ready to be enjoyed.
We also involve children in serving dishes, we serve with imagination and set the table well.
