Carbonara for children
Carbonara with ham, courgettes, vegetables. Suitable for children aged one year and over. Here are three different recipes to prepare, on the occasion of the Carbonara Day of 6 April, a carbonara suitable for small children, from one to two years old.
Can children eat carbonara?
The answer is no. It would be better to avoid. Small children should not eat raw egg and bacon is a very fatty cured meat. Cooked ham as an alternative would be preferred. Even pecorino is usually not always popular with children, due to its very strong flavor.
Here are some variations of carbonara that we can also offer to children.
