Here is the weekly menu-type to follow during pregnancy, proposed by Diana Scatozza, a medical specialist in nutrition science with a dietary-diet therapy address in our city.
Keep in mind that the recommended foods can be replaced according to your tastes and following the instructions in the article Diet during pregnancy: for example, you can replace a meat dish with a fish one, or eat cheese instead a second course based on meat or fish etc., as well as vegetables can be chosen according to the season and your preferences.
FOR EVERY DAY
Breakfast A cup of milk, 3-4 rusks or 4-5 tablespoons of corn flakes. "If you have nausea problems (frequent in the first trimester), milk may not be very welcome in the morning," points out the dietician. “In this case, you can replace it with a cup of green tea and add another source of calcium during the day (which could be another yogurt or a portion of cheese). Alternatively, you can try HD (highly digestible) milk, the full skim type, or synthetic soy or rice based milks, as long as they are supplemented with calcium and vitamin D.
Mid-morning snack A fruit (or a yogurt, if you don't eat it in the afternoon).
Afternoon snack The ideal is to have two snacks, because several hours pass between lunch and dinner. One of the snacks can be fruit, another one can be yogurt. Alternatively, you can eat yogurt in the morning and two fruits in the afternoon.
Before going to bed 1 glass of warm milk
