Valentine's Day recipe: polenta pizza

To be eaten slice by slice strictly in company. If you have pupi in tow, they will be won over by a polenta that tastes like pizza! Simple to make and very tasty. Perfect for a Valentine's Day three.

  • 300 g of coveted corn flour

  • 200 g of chopped pieces

  • Origan

  • 1 mozzarella

  • extra virgin olive oil

  • a pinch of salt

  • a heart mold

1. Prepare the polenta. For 300 g of flour you will need to boil about 1,5 liters of water. When the water boils, add the salt, then slowly add the flour, stirring with a whisk, in order to avoid lumps.

2. Continue to mix from time to time for about 30-40 minutes with a wooden spoon, if necessary add more lukewarm water. Once ready, pour the polenta into one mold, lightly greased, and let it rest for a few hours (even overnight).

3. Turn the polenta out of the mold onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Mix the puree with a teaspoon of oregano and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, add salt and sauce season the surface of the polenta. Add the chopped mozzarella and bake in a preheated oven at 185 ° for 10 minutes. Serve hot.

The extra idea. You can vary your polenta pizza by using flour for white polenta or taragna, and season the surface with ham, olives or sausage.
